Hi Everyone, hope your all well,
Sorry it’s been so long between reports, it’s been a bit hectic the last four months, as a lot of you know our house was destroyed in the hail storm and after four and a half months we finally moved back in last weekend, so I can get back to spending more time down at the track again. I have some great news for the warmer months ahead, after a lot of paperwork and visits to the council I finally have the planning permit for the water tanks. This means that we can now organise the installation of two 22.5 thousand litre tanks which will be hooked up to the existing sprinklers and hoses around the track to control the dust. Our racing days have been going well this year and having to cancel one due to bad weather means that we only had five rounds of the aggregate which are now finished, next up we have club champs starting soon so make sure you get your race entries in. I spoke to the senior riders early in the year about whether they would rather trophies or cash and nearly all said cash, so we might try this out for the club champs. We are starting to organise the club camp for later in the year so keep an eye out for info on that. We have been using an sms service this year to keep all members up to date with what’s happening, so if you haven’t been getting them make sure you let us know as it is a great way of keeping in touch. For insurance and legal reasons we have to make sure all of our rules and regulations are followed with no exceptions, so please understand that if we are asking you not to do something it’s not because we want to, but because we have to, and there will be a zero tolerance attitude to these rules. Don’t forget to keep an eye on the web site to keep you up to date with what’s happening and when your rostered on for track duty etc. We have a Honda Smart training day booked in again for 21st of September, with forms to be on the web site soon. We have decided to start mailing out a newsletter four times a year to help keep you up to date, hope you enjoy it.
